How to remove power saving mode from a black screen

Need more details here. Two things cause this, a dead computer (which everyone mistakes for a monitor issue), bad cble connection, dead video card, or a bad monitor.

First thing, test a known working monitor with the computer, and a new video cable is a good idea also.

If that also does not work, the computer or video card are bad.

Solution
if I cannot see picture of windows booting
and when I press bios button on keyboard doesn't work
pc runs smooth everything is lighten up
cannot enter bios cannot see picture if I just have cable in monitor it says no signal, when I input cable to computer it immediately goes to power saving mode and when I plug to other inputs it just turns on to tell me that he is going to turn on the PSmode and then it just circles there... any ideas? ive been sitting here for 3 days and cannot solve it, tried to reset bios settings by removing the battery from Mboard - didn't help also..

thing is that everything worked before I used bios setup that asus motherboard integrated in bios
