How to remove Shortcut virus from Laptop/USB?

So, I've tried removing the shortcut virus but all that was in vain. I did try the CMD method, with the command "attrib -h -r -s /s /d H:*.* " but this too was of no use. Please someone help me remove this virus. It's spreading to all my Drives. I have it in both, my Laptop and my USB.

download and install malwarebytes, that should get rid of most any infection (more then even kaserpsky or bitdefender will)
Malwarebytes (at least the free one) does not do active protection, it is only reactive and not proactive.
