Question How to remove the bezel from AOC G2590PX ???

I've been using this monitor for a while now and am really liking it so far. The only thing that kinda annoys me is the red bar at the bottom of the screen. I would like to take it of and paint it black but I sadly couldn't find any instructions on how to do that.
So I thought I'd reach out to you guys in hope some of you can help me.
Does anyone know how to take the monitor apart or if it's somehow safe to just tape everything and then spray the bar? :/

That's indeed pretty annoying. I don't know why they do something like this. I have no clue how to take the bezel off. Probably pry it from the side and make sure you don't tear any cables that might be connected. Another solution is to just use something like electrical tape and cover it up. It's going to look ugly. Try it and if you don't like it just pull it off and then you can evaluate other options. One other option is to leave the bezel on, put some newspaper over the monitor and tape down the lower edge. You have to do this very precisely and avoid excessive color as otherwise it will bleed into the screen. Then spray paint it with a glossy paint (assuming the rest of the panel is glossy). You might want to try this out on a small edge of the monitor or even the back before you do the whole lower bezel. That way you get a feeling what the end result will look like.
