how to remove write protection in sd card

in the Storage Device Policies , there is a key with a name default with type REG_SZ and value which says value not set !
and wen i try to modify the value of it......it says error
so now what ??

Hi, you can try this:

Try formatting it in Disc Management which you will find in Computer Management.

Start. Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Disc Management in the left hand column, right click

on your flash drive/sd card and choose format. You may get a message This volume may not be compatible with previous

versions of Windows etc ignore this and click ok This is because the pendrive/sd card is FAT and the hard drive is NTFS.

SD cards have a lock button on the side. Slide it to the unlock position.
