How to repair Mechanical Keyboard (cherry mx)?

So, my D key on my Razer Blackwidow Chroma doesn't register unless I press down to the left and a bit hard. It's been going on for a few weeks. Took keycap off and it's not sticky and no dirt anywhere. I don't know if it's the switch, and I don't wanna ship it back if I can fix it myself.


No, I've not spilled something or banged on my precious keyboard.

Razer Peripherals are notorious for QC issues. Most of keyboards have shoddy soldering, which causes problems in long term reliability like these. Looks like a soldering joint failed and is forced back into contact with the rest of the circuit when you press hard in a specific way. Unless you're willing to void your warranty, fully disassemble the keyboard, identify the issue...
