It'd be very convenient for an end user if they could restart their system with a simple voice command, even though they may be away from their system right? Well Microsoft thought of it and has allowed that functionality within Cortana, the personal assistant. This tutorial will show you how to reboot your system using voice command and Cortana.

■Open Windows File Explorer by tapping "Windows key"+"E".

■Click on "This PC" from the left hand pane.

■Open your OS installation drive, which is often C: , and go to or simply copy paste this location:
    Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

■In the Programs folder, right click on an empty space within the folder and hover over to create a new shortcut.

    and click on Next.

■Name the shortcut per the voice command you want Cortana to recognize such as "Reboot" or "Restart PC".

    ■ Click on "Finish" to complete the shortcut creation.

■Provided your "Hey Cortana" feature is enabled, you can now try out your new trick for Cortana by saying "Hey Cortana: Open Resart PC" to have Cortana initiate the shortcut which in essence is a reboot protocol.

You can now use voice command to reboot your system on Windows 10.
