I got this 500GB Flashdrive loaded with videos and Game installers. I tried to access my flashdrive on my computer, running Win 7 Ultimate but I can't see the files. I tried to recover them using cmd command but i end up getting .CHK files. I downloaded CHK-Back app but it cant recover my stuffs. What should I do? 🙁

Solution
.CHK files are made when checkdisk finds problems after a scan of your hard drive and tries to recover lost data. This commonly happens when the computer is switched off (rather than shut down) or powered off during the running of a program or transfer of data. I suggest that you use EaseUS data recovery software (free download) to try to recover these files if you cannot read them 'as is'.
