Hello all,

I uninstalled my motherboards (Gigabyte G1 Sniper M5) USB root hub's, and now cannot use any usb device from my usb 3.0 ports. I am only able to use my 2 USB 2.0 ports in bios. So is there any way to reinstall my motherboards USB drivers from bios? I tried updating to the latest bios, but the usb port are still dysfunctional.

This is a highly frustrating problem because I cannot even use a keyboard to login to my account.

Any help would be greatlyappreciated

The problem with this rather obvious soltuion, is I do not have a working keyboard or mouse to install drivers from my desktop, nonetheless type my password and access my account at login.

UPDATE:

I found an old circular gree/purple input keyboard, so im able to signin, but still no mouse or working usb port to connect either a usb stick (that has the usb drivers on it) or the internet (to download the drivers)

This may sound crazy but your board have 2 USB 2.0 ports that should work by default on boot up. Change the options for those 2 USB 2.0 ports from BIOS only to BIOS + OS and you should be able to use them in the OS as well.

If they are set to "BIOS" only they should not be.
