How do I get them working like normal tab speakers again?

Solution A A Alabalcho Aug 8, 2019 Your audio jack is designed to drive headphones, not speakers. You need an amplifier to drive any speakers, tablet / desktop / floorstanding. And to be honest - $15 powered speakers from Walmart will sound much better than these miniscule "speakers".
