how to run a passive subwoofer using another amp with pre-out on receiver?

can i connect my receiver sub pre-out using a coaxial converter to amps rca input to drive my passive subwoofer?

If the receiver has a sub out, this will be in the form of a RCA jack, and any amp will accept that.

thanks of the reply, understand that, but my amplifier only have left right input, don't have sub-in jack input, just need to know what type of cable do i need to connect into left right input(red and white)

For practical purposes a dedicated sub amp is a mono amp, and you have a stereo amp, so just use one channel, unless your amp is capable of bridging.
