Hello,

[This is related to my previous message about Windows XP failing to start.]

In the meantime, I'm trying to access the hard drive of the PC with
corrupted Windows XP installation.
Is that possible to run full (or at least limited) Windows XP from CD? I
mean not Setup session, but just a regular Windows XP setup session? Would I
be able to have full access to the hard drive then?

Thank you,
DP

No, you cannot run Windows using the Windows XP installation CD.

You can't start or run a Windows graphical session from the CD, but you
can run the Recovery Console, which would give you access, via the
command line interface (CLI), to the hard drive's contents.
