[SOLVED] How to safely scan and open WinRar files?

Hi

I want to install a PC mod for a game but the files were compressed in a RAR file. From what I know, those types of file have a reputation of containing viruses.

So I wanted to know if there is a way to 'fully scan the file while it is still compressed.

Its a skin pack mod for Skyrim SE from Nexus Mod; I tried using their Vortex mod manager but there seems to be some error when installing.

So I was thinking of installing it manually with the .rar file.
