[SOLVED] How to set Commit GB

How Do I set the commit GB? I tried to lessen it but I actually make it bigger, I just want to know how to scale this down, I need a space for my HDD. I'm using windows 7

my commit GB is 2/32

Question not clear. 2/32 is very little. And what does memory has to do with space for HDD?

I think it is paging file, the one you see on the task manager, earlier it was 2/32 GB. now its 2/9

The paging file use changing dynamically as you use the computer. If you want to set it to a specific value, set the min and max sizes to be the same. For systems with 8 gb or greater I set it to half of the RAM amount, but no more than 8 gb. That will create a set pagefile on the drive.
