How to set Nvidia card as primary graphics?

I upgraded to Windows 10, but my intel HD 4600 graphics has been giving me trouble since.
It keeps crashing frequently and I get a notification - " The Intel HD Graphics has crashed and has been recovered".
I tried updating the driver, but it didn't help.
So what I'm asking here is can I set my Nvidia gt740m as primary graphics processor and disable the intel hd 4600 altogether? I mean using the NVidia card for windows too(as currently windows uses intel hd).

Go into your device manager and disable the intel graphics.
