how to set permissions for folders

I keep personal data in folders on a second hard drive
I want to limit access to these folders so other users cannot access them, but me and my apps can. For instance, OneDrive needs to be able to access its folder.
how to do it?
win10 pro
standard user account

Make sure only your user has access to them by adding it with full rights and deleting the "Everyone" user from the list.
