How to set up a thread that doesn't actually require an answer but where you can just post comments? Or where on tomshardware?

Basically I would like to open threads sometimes to simply get opinions and the thread doesn't show as a Q&A.

Easy! When you create the thread, just don't create it as a question. There's a checkbox under the initial post new thread that asks if you want to make this a question. Unselect that. Then, the thread won't count as a Question type.

See I thought I saw that there only under certain instances I don't recall seeing it I was beginning to wonder if there were certain conditions but guess not LOL thanks I guess I was just seeing things.
