I recently brought a 5.1 speaker (real 5.1) , the speaker says its AC-3 and my 5.1 works fine. my pc is asus prebuit with realtek audio console and sonic studio 3 . i use 3mm to aux for speaker connection .i have few questions.
Q 1 on wikipedia it says AC3 is dolby digital so is my speaker dolby digital ?
Q 2 if my speaker is dolby , is it ON by default on windows or i need to setup ?
Q 3 how to setup dolby if its off ?

If you open the Control Panel, Sound app, select your speaker as the Playback device, and click the Properties button, what does the Supported Formats dialog box say? Does it indicate Dolby Digital as an Encoded Format? If so, can you select Dolby Digital and click the Test button to run the 5 speaker test, and what is the result?
