I got a AsRock 990FX Extreme9 mainboard.
The CPU is a FX9590, so it is supported by the board.
The message i keep getting is:

Asmedia 106X SATA Controller ver 0.93 AHCI Mode
S.M.A.R.T. Supported
Using PCIE Gen2
Can't find any device.

This, can't find any device, is that a problem ?
I deactivated the onboard FireWire in the bios, cause there was a problem with that to.
So now it starts with what ?
I can still boot and use windows, after a few reboots, but what's up with that ?

So that CPU is nothing but headaches. You might think it's fast and great, but it really isn't. It's hot and can barely run. AMD should honestly never released it. The reason why it's bad is because it's nothing more than a hand picked MASSIVELY OC'd 8350. OC'd so high it isn't really stable. It has a 200W+ TDP which most boards can't handle. And you need a super beefy PSU to handle it and the GPU you pair it with. You are better off returning it. No joke.

I don't mean to be rude but those are the cold hard facts. I don't know what you are doing with it nor do I care. The FX9xxx chips are failures. Get something else. The 2600 is nice and cheap and will run just fine.
