how to solve wd external hard disk problem

Windows has detected a problem with my external hard disk, can you give me a solution to solve it and after scanning and repairing, its nothing happened. Thank you.

it depends on the problem though. (which you failed to mentioned... exactly)
I had an issue recently .... the drive would get really slow at reading and/or transferring files.
Tried a few solutions and nothing worked.
Finally I just RMA the drive back to the manufacturer. (it was still on warranty)
Not without transferring (painfully slow) the data to other drives.
Now everything works normal again.
