Question How to stop using Hotspot through a modem

So I have T-Mobile, and I have a phone line in a modem. But I have an issue. My computer uses the Hostpot Data on the line, so once I use the 22gb I get throttled. How do I stop using that Hotspot data, and just use the mobile data? I cant just get rid of the hotspot from my plan. It would get rid of the Hotspot on every line, which I need. So, is there a way to either, Disable the hotspot feature on that line without getting rid the hotspot on every line. Or to just stop using the hotspot somehow. I have been struggling with this for quite some time....

AFIK, cellphone plans, data is data, there is no diff hotspot/mobile data.

No, that's incorrect. I can see it in my data usage. It uses up my 22gb of 4glte unlimited hotspot data, then throttles me back and it keeps using that data.

Talk to T-mobile, but I believe that the data is the same no matter what they call it, it comes from the same pool of data.
