[SOLVED] How to stop windows from automatically defragging ssd.

I have disabled automatic defragging in window's app, and disabled it in my antivirus's settings, yet when I check event viewer, it says a defrag happens around every week. How can I permanently disable defragging? Thanks.

Unless you have a 3rd party app, nothing in windows 10 will ever defrag a ssd. Windows drive optimizer can see it's an ssd and optimize it but if that's what you disabled (it's what used to be called defragment drives) then it shouldn't be happening. I would advise turning it back on.
