Installed Xp pro on Uefi system. System reboots frequently.

Internet search found article to stop auto reboot by editing/creating boot.ini file.
System has c: as reserved; d: as local drive; e: local drive - contains windows/system32/boot
which has winload.efi & winresume.efi plus osload for each of the two files.

How do I prevent the frequent auto reboot?

As I recall Xp will reboot about 30 days on a cycle?

Thank you.

HDD configured UEFI for dual boot Win10 otherwise legacy is good.

Re-installed older mobo, XP and other software recently and for some reason Xp was rebooting daily for the first few days. It now appears to have settled down, not rebooting.

In the past Xp would reboot about every 30 days.

Saw an internet article indicating to modify the boot.ini file to stop auto boot.
