How to take the Computer out of Stand-by

I have an ACER Computer and it is on the standby setting how do i take it off of standby

push the power button to turn the computer on...

if you mean how to change the settings so it doesn't go to stand-by every time you close the lid. Go to Control Panel > Power Saving options
