[SOLVED] How to tell if proper PCIe wifi card drivers are installed

I recently bought an Asus PCE AC88 wifi card for my new apartment. Once the card was installed, I installed the latest drivers I downloaded from asus's product page. What bothers me is in device manager, the driver listed is "Broadcom 1.558.48.8". The driver I installed from asus is 2.8.0.7. I believe it's installed, cause under Apps&features in windows "asus pce-ac88 wlan card driver" is listed with the same version number. This discrepancy just bothers me, I don't wanna be missing out on any performance cause windows didn't install the proper driver. Is this normal?

The wifi chip on that card is made by Broadcom, hence it shows as Broadcom in Device Manager --- nothing to be concerned about.
