How to transfer files from external hard drive to new computer

I have Seagate Free agent go Flex Portable Hard Drive ...I have had it set on auto back up for the last 8 months or so....My Qosmio G55 Q804 crash and froze ...I had to do a full system recovery restoring it to the factory out of box condition..I lost everything I had...So now How do I get the data...Pictures and everything from the Go Flex Portable Hard drive back into my Laptop ...I have tried everything for the last 5 hours..lease help...Thank You 🙁

What is this "tried everything"? Have you just tried the recovery software that Seagate uses? Run a restore using that. If that failed, you need to provide some details.
