How to transfer programs/applications to new pc?

I am going to be having a new pc on Wenesday, and I want to transfer some applications from my old pc to the new one. So for example, if I took the origin program files, then put them on a usb hard drive, then put the usb drive in my new pc, would I be able to transfer them and use them normally? Thanks!

No, you'll need to reinstall programs on the new computer if you want to use them again.

Most Windows software installs tons of registry keys and won't work properly if you just move the program files. Some may also install or modify system files.

The simplest thing to do is usually to just re-install the software.

You can, but you need a 3rd party product for this (as in, paid).
You can't do it with just a copy to USB.

If it's worth it for you, the software itself is quite effective, and copies programs as well.
