How to turn inactive windows to active windows ??

This is my story. Last night I play the Sims 4. And when I play it I've been downloading nvidia driver update to version 340.- -. And after that I want to Google and search the cheat of the game and it freeze for 30 seconds and pop up a text. Please wait. And the windows turn inactive. And the game it's still running fine. Help me.. I need some of your help..

do you mean windows requests a key to activate or do you mean windows becomes unresponsive.i gotta feeling english is not your first language but we will get there.lol

The windows turn unresponsive..

does it give any kind of error code?you could also try going to your windows logfiles as this error will show up and even gives a clue as to where to look.
