hi, just bought some new case fans and they are loud as haha. ive tried using speedfan and that dosent work for some reason unless im doing it wrong, can someone please help me. thank you.
You should be able to control the two connected to the motherboard. The one on the molex will be limited to a single speed. A multifan controller that fits into a disk drive bay is probably your best bet since you can then control 5 fans with most of them. You would then move the two connected to the motherboard to the new fan controller.
what would i plug this fan controller into ?http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/akasa-brushed-aluminium-three-channel-fan-controller-with-usb-30-a91nl
If you head over to the Akasa web page, you see this picture. The controller plugs into a molex connector and has long leads to plug the fans into.
