Hello all and thank you for taking a look at my question's.

I have a "Foxconn 2ADA" motherboard with 1x8GB GB of ram and i currently wish to upgrade to the maximum for this Motherboard. And i cant find a munual for it.

Running CPU-Z to get the info i end up with a few questions.

----

Under "DMI Physical Memory Array" i found to interesting things.

max capacity 16384 MBytes
max# of devices 2

The "max# of devices 2" is Easy i can only insert 2 ram in the motherboard at once. Allso to be seen on the board.

The "max capacity 16384 MBytes" Makes me wonder though.

1. If its "16384 MBytes" per device. So a total of 32GB?

2. Or if its "16384 MBytes" total? Etc. 2x8GB

----

My next Question would be what the correct ram would be.

3. I have a "DDR3" "PC3-12800" can i go any higher on this board ?

4. Is the voltage important its currently at "1,5V" should i buy a ram with that voltage ?

----

Ty for looking at my Questions,

Best Regards,
Darkyere

Solution
Memory upgrade information
• Dual channel memory architecture
• Two 240-pin DDR3 DIMM sockets
Supports the following:
• PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333)
• PC3-12800 (DDR3-1600)
• Non-ECC memory only, unbuffered
• Supports 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB and 8 GB DIMMs
• Supports up to 16 GB on 64-bit systems

1.5V DIMMs are what you should be getting.
