How to use adsl router as wan router?

hello i have a belkin n300 adsl2+ modem router n i want to connect cable internet connection....i disabled dhcp in the router and it is working fine only thing is i am not able to store the login information in the router so as to share the internet connection with multiple devices....can anybody pls help me set up the router to store login id n password of cable internet??

You cant. You cannot load another firmware where you can assign a LAN port to function as a WAN.
