I just installed Windows 10 and everytime I turn on the pc I usually had (in win 7) a password to jump to desktop, now it uses my hotmail password. How do I change that?

Solution
Your post doesn't actually say that. Changing the password without changing to a local account, changes your microsoft account (his hotmail) password. As colif said, sign in with a local account. This is the original type of pc password you are thinking of.
Just go into the setting, accounts, sign-in options. Then you can change your password to whatever you would like! Hope this helps!

do want to auto logon : http://www.cnet.com/au/how-to/automatically-log-in-to-your-windows-10-pc/

or do you want to use your local account instead of your Microsoft account?

to do that, open start menu, right click your user name at top and select change account settings
on next screen, select sign in with local account instead

Specifically what I want is what I had to do previously in Windows 7, instead of using any sort of e-mail or account password to login in my pc as soon as it turns on, I want to use a "local password" in my login, get it? A unique, PIN-like password as windows always had. Or there is no way to do that?

I see, it works now. Anyway I only made this thread because I installed Win 10 today, still getting used to the new layout and features. Thanks!

you can actually have it log in your MS account automatically as well if you wish.

search for "netplwiz" and for your user, uncheck the box for "require a password for this user" or something like that.

will go straight to desktop and let you use your MS account still.

I said that too :)
