So I've had a Lenovo Y50 with a 1TB HDD and a 25GB SSD I was wondering how to either put my OS onto the SSD or hopefully find some kind of third party caching software that will optimize my computer for me. I've had this computer about a year and that SSD drive just stays empty and I would love to use it to speed up my computer.

OK, that appears to be all one single physical drive. 1TB.

A "1TB drive" would normally show as 931GB in that window.
931 - 25(D drive?) - 16(recovery partition) = 890. Right about where you see 887GB for the C partition.

What is telling you there is a physical 25GB SSD in this thing?
25GB is simply too small for a standalone OS drive.

Normally, a latop with that config is set so the small SSD is a cache drive, and you cannot access it individually.
Is this not the case with yours? What is telling you that it is 'empty'?

I have two drives. One is my HDD (C: Drive) which is currently at about 10% capacity the other is what I assume to be my SSD (it's the D: drive) under disk management it is labeled as my Primary partition. Is this possibly not my SSD portion of my SSHD?

A screencap of your Disk Managemnet window would help.
But that D is probably the factory recovery partition.
