Suspension fluid is essential for crafting your own ward drives for your hyperdrive system, so how do you go about finding these and using them for that purpose?
Step 1)Find the blueprint to craft them yourself.
This becomes much easier if you are able to find the blueprint to craft them. Finding the blueprint is entirely up to random chance though, so help every alien you can and explore every outpost or manufacturing plant you come across and eventually it will turn up. Once you have the blueprint you can craft as many of these as you like for only 50 carbon a piece.
Step 2)Use the suspension fluid to craft an Electron Vapor.
Now that you are making your own suspension fluids, you can use them to start working towards building your own warp cells, the first recipe towards this would be the Electron Vapor. Crafting this will cost you 100 plutonium, but that should be pretty commonly found, and your suspension fluid.
Step 3)Craft yourself some antimatter.
This is going to be a main ingredient in either first building your hyperdrive, or building the warp cells to refuel it. You'll need 10 zinc, 50 heridium, and your electron vapor in order to craft this item, and you'll then be able to make it into either your hyperdrive if you still need one, or the warp cells needed for your hyperdrive.
If you follow the atlas from the opening to progress the story, you'll pretty quickly find the recipes you need for the electron vapor, warp cells, and hyperdrive are found pretty early, it's just the suspension fluid that seems to be a random drop. If you are having trouble finding these, try following where the storyline has directed you to go. Explore everything you can as well, as you'll find a lot of blueprints just from digging through ruins and outposts.
