Can not delete the main C: partiotion with disk management

Right. The OS will not allow you to tell it to delete itself.

How you do this is predicated on why you are doing this.
So...why are we doing this?

boot from windows 7 or 10 cd or usb stick.
go into comand promt.
use diskpart comamnd
clean to wipe the whole disk
or go into advance mode on the install and delete all of the partion then.
