how well can I run ffxv

I want to upgrade but I'm confused about the performance game debate gave me.

I'm thinking
Ryzen 1200 because it's super cheap (could always go to 1600)
8gb ddr4
And a gtx 1050ti zotac mini

What graphic settings and for will this run?

I can't give you an exact settings but your above the minimal requirements but you should be able to run the game. At 1080P I would think you'd be in the area of medium to high settings for around 60 FPS. Just make sure you have enough storage space as apparently it requires over 100gb of space.

If you get the 1200 (or even 1600) just make sure you pair it with a B350 motherboard as you'll want to overclock the CPU to around 3.6 or higher on the stock Wraith cooler to get the better performance with Ryzen.

You'll probably get 1080p Medium settings. The Ryzen 1600 won't make much difference.

Final Fantasy XV gives some pretty specific PC requirements. Those components are just above the minimum requirements for the game. For minimum requirements I would consider using low settings.. Since your CPU/GPU are a little better than the minimum, then you may be able to run medium settings with a tweak here or there.

You can download the benchmark and see how it runs. The 1050Ti is going to low settings for sure.

The 1050ti is a budget card. So you cant have any expectations for it to last a long time. Games become more demanding and require better hardware. So getting a budget GPU will only shorten the time required to get better hardware to run certain games.

With that being said, Final Fantasy XV seems to be fairly demanding for the PC. So don't look at just one game to see how your system will perform. Look at series of games to understand where a system stands.

1080p results at medium and high settings are on page 4. It looks like a 1050 Ti would get 30+fps at medium to high settings (assuming their run is fairly representative of much of the game).

They used a 6-core, 12-thread Ryzen 1600X for the tests, but also performed some tests where they disabled some cores to estimate how processors with lower thread counts would perform, which can be found on page 6. Going from a 6-core processor to a 4-core one appears to affect minimum frame rates a bit, but the averages should remain about the same, so long as the per-core performance is similar. As has been said though, you'll want to overclock the Ryzen 1200 on a B350 or higher chipset motherboard to get the most out of its performance.

I still have a 750ti which I thinks a budget card and it's only just going weak so I have no quarrelling with budget cards. I honestly don't mind lower settings as long as it runs

Gtx 750ti with FX4350 with 8gb ram.

Ice been told the cpu is complete trash (it really is) but the gpu is fine for most titles. I'm pretty bad with computers so I have to go in what I'm told lol
