there is used ASUS VivoBook X202E for sale at $ 50.If I want to buy that. Is it a wise decision to buy that? If I want to upgrade that machine to a better machine. with 8gb ram and a PCIe SSD. Is it possible for the up-gradation?
What do you think? Is it a good deal to buy that at $ 50?Asus VivoBook X202E review: An inexpensive touch-screen Windows 8 laptop
It's great to see more touch-screen Windows 8 laptops under $600, but that requires compromises in performance and battery life.www.cnet.com
7 years old (battery probably marginal)
RAM upgrade unknown.
You won't be able to put a PCIe SSD in there. Maybe a 2.5" SATA III as a replacement for the existing HDD.
"wise decision" depends on what you plan to use it for.
Assuming it actually works, has a valid Windows license, and you're only planning on very basic use for it...probably.What do you think? Is it a good deal to buy that at $ 50?
