How will I run games like fortnite and GTA V?

A friend of mine recently gifted me an old system of his and I was wondering how I would play games like fortnite and GTA V before I go and download them.
Spec:
Cpu-i5 6400
Motherboard- Asus Z170-P
2x4gb DDR4 2400mhz
Gpu- sapphire nitro r7 370 4gb
1tb hdd
128gb ssd

I would say yes. While not on highest of settings.

You can use this site. Its not 100% accurate but it has a large pool of devices that have been compared to game recommendations. It is fairly accurate in letting you know what is the limiting factor in your pc.

So what settings would I be looking at , and what is the limiting factor GPU/CPU

Each game has different max and min requirements. Please run the tool as I stated and it will tell you the hardware limitations.

For Fortnite, you probably want to stick with Medium quality.

The R7 370 isn't listed, but its specs make it pretty much a rebadged R7 265 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMD_Radeon_Rx_200_series & https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMD_Radeon_Rx_300_series), which means you shouldn't go any higher than Normal texture quality at 1080p.

If you want higher quality for both games, you'll probably want to turn the resolution down a tad.
