Im wondering about how this build will do,
Bear in mind all parts are bought I'm just wondering about the power of it.
Also I know the psu is bad and will be upgrading it in the sooner future

The components:
Cpu: Intel core i5 6600k
Cooler: Cooler master hyper 212 Evo
MoBo: Asus z170-A
Gpu: MSI gtx GeForce 970 4gb
Ram: Corsair Vengeance lpx 8gb(2 x 4)
Hdd: WD blue 1tb
Psu: corsair vs550
Case: Fractal design define r4

So my questions is how it will do in overclocking, how long you think the psu will last, and just your general thoughts about it and recomendations for building it!
Thanks

Solution
it's still a good card
but if you go to a retailer and buy it you usually get a better card for 10$ extra...and sometimes even less

but the 970 is by no means an old card
you will however want to upgrade in the future, depending on your expectations
PSU is awful tbh. especially since I reckon you pay around 60$ for it? Go with a XFX TS or a Seasonic SSR-550RM
agreed that you need to get the 970 at a seriously good price as 1060 and 480 are usually only marginally more expensive for premium performance

I got the got from a friend so it's not really changeable
But how do you think it will do?

SR7-Blackbird sorry didn't mean to down vote, miss click, I was th thinking about the cpu fan but I'm buying all my stuff from inet and it had nothing left, the psu is really cheap, you think it's much better than the vs? Was thinking about upgrading to an evga 550 watt gold something like that don't remember exactly, but for a price about 70-90$,
I know that the 970 isn't the best for the money but I got by a friend a while ago and wouldn't want to spend 250$ on a new one, when this will do the work, because I'm mainly focusing on the game csgo which doesn't take much gpu power.
Thanks about the psu will think about that in the sooner future, but how do you think it will do?

I know that, thing was gpu was bought on sale, was like 30% really cheap, and since I'm mainly going to focus on the gaming csgo I don't think I really need something better than this, I'll think in further future but as for the moment, I think all I have now is enough, except the psu, it's getting upgraded in soon future.
But how do you think it will do?
