For it's price I'd say it'll do fine. The GPU and CPU will hold you back though, depending on the type of game.

I probably would recommend that you up the PS to 600w, esp if you're going to upgrade the GPU later. 500w is enough to run some nice cards, but it's pretty much right on the line, and you don't want to have to fork out for another PS too often =)
 
What type of games do you play? The graphics card will be able to play bioshock infinite at about 50fps on ultra, Crysis 3 at about 15fps on ultra and Far Cry 3 at about 20fps on ultra. All of these benchmarks are at 1080p. Overall the PC looks pretty good but i would consider buying a 60gb ssd as well though as that will offer the performance of an ssd at a low price.

I upgraded the video card. Will this do me a bit better?
 
It will be a bit better and for current games at high and medium settings should be sufficient. Keep in mind you can always upgrade to something like the GTX 960 when it releases or add another card and opt for a crossfire or sli setup.
