How will this work

I just purchased an asus gtx 1070 and was wondering how it will work with my current amd fx6300 processor and will it run VR at a smooth rate? I do plan on upgrading to the new amd processor when they release it. But how will it run for the time being?

You'll run into some bottlenecking in games. In VR, it depends whether you use a Vive or Rift; the ASW feature for the Rift should help keep things playable if/when the CPU can't hit 90FPS, with a Vive that will get more noticeably uncomfortable.
