I"m trying to help a friend with his laptop and I need to know what his PSU is. Now ive heard you have to take the pc apart and physically look at the psu. But you can find what your CPU,GPU,Ram, and MoBo by going to device manager and stuff. So is there anyway to find out a PSU in a laptop without taking it apart? thanks

I was under the impression laptops have no traditional PSU. I heard there is some components to provide specific power to specific components, but no PSU as such.

Just out of curiosity, why do you need to know about a laptop PSU?

Well my friends laptop doesnt have a GPU, just an APU so we are getting him a Graphics Card. I just need to know if there is enough power/wattage to supply the gpu. As you can tell i have no experience with laptops. The charger says 65w. So also if anyone could link me to some decent laptop GPU's that would be great.
