How would this system hold up?

Hello all, first time poster here. Although I consider myself fairly experienced when it comes to computers in general, I will admit when it comes to gaming computers I have no experience whatsoever, since I haven't really had the money to spend it on a gaming system. Finally though I've decided to completely build my own rig (my old one is too outdated to try and salvage anything aside from the hard drive I purchased not long ago). So, I'm asking the question everyone asks, how would this hold up?

Case: RAIDMAX Cobra ATX-502WBG
Motherboard: ASROCK Z97 Pro3 LGA1150
CPU: Intel i5-4690 Quadcore 3.5GHz
CPU Cooling: CORSAIR Hydro Series H50 liquid CPU cooler
GPU: EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX-750ti 2gb
Memory: HyperX Fury Series 8GB
PSU: Corsair 750W CXM series Modular
Optical Drive: LITE-ON DVD Burner.
Hard Drive: WD 1TB(Already own)

I'd run Windows 7 on it, and I'd say the most resource heavy game I'd play is Skyrim, otherwise I'll be playing things like Minecraft or possibly WoW. Using Mail in Rebate and coupon codes, I've got that down to $690 shipped. Would this play Skyrim on Ultra with a steady FPS?

Is there anything I'm missing, or are there things that you would suggest that wouldn't take me way over my budget?

This will suit your needs perfectly and provide good frames for those type of games, although with a CPU cooler like that, I'd really opt you to get a K version and overclock

I considered getting the K version, but then I realized I probably wouldn't overclock, and I definitely don't trust myself to try and overclock it, so it would be a moot point. I went with the liquid cooling for a couple reasons, but one of the bigger ones is I live in Florida, and my house, and especially my room, are pretty damn hot on a cool day, so I wanted something that would be able to cool efficiently without sounding like a wind turbine is running in my room.

I can see what you mean, but in honesty, you can get an air cooler with a quiet fan instead of spending more for water cooling and do almost as good. Some of Corsair's water systems have louder fans so you might want to do a little research on that

Water cooling is usually an option considered for people who plan on overclocking

Hope I helped 😀

Definitely helped Mokyu, had my system set up for a couple weeks now, and having no problems. Ended up getting the K version ironically, that was the version that went on sale.

I like everything in your build. Seems bad ass. This is just my ten cents, but I have had problems with ASROCK motherboards before. They have a pretty high DOA rate. Their bios menus are pretty skimpy as well as far as overclocking and tweaking goes. I know you said you don't want to overclock, but I felt like I should inform you on it since you're dropping your dough.

I found something that costs a bit more, but would be prime for your build. Asus is fantastic as far as motherboards go. They have great customer service, reliability, bios settings, and are generally the "go to" motherboard when it comes to gaming. I suggest you check it out. Let us know how it goes!

I've already bought everything, but I'm having no problems with the ASRock board after about two and a half weeks, definitely no DOA. Plus the BIOS menu seems solid so far.
