How Would You Build a Video-Editing PC?

depending on the software i was using i would have probably dumped the high end gpu in favor of the next chip up. as a lot of video renderer's still dont use the gpu for anything other than hardware encoding x264/5 and as a low end 10 series uses the same hardware encoder as the higher end cards there shouldnt be any difference in playback/seek and so on...

The build in the article is way over $2k, as the ram doesn't even show a price. I will continue to disagree about no mechanical storage, as well. I for one do not trust cloud storage.
