Hi,
To install a dual-boot system on my new computer, I have to shrink the windows partition on my SSD. On HDD I used to defrag the windows partition so no data is written at the end of the partion, and then shrink it (gparted, ...).
Now, on SSD, defragmentation shall not be used. So how to proceed?
The drive has already 3 partions (win 7 boot, windows, recovery), don't know if this is of interest here.
I thought SSD somewhat separate the "partition" from the physical storage position, contrary to HDD, but I fear to mess up the system by simply shrinking the big windows partition with gparted.
