HP 3200C and winXP

anyone out there have a hp 3200c and windows xp? can't get my scanner to work with xp. I downloaded the upgrade software from HP website but it doesn't work....the wizard keeps looking for something called VID_04E6 PID_80002000 which doesn't seem to be included with the patch from hp or on the winxp install disc...

DriverGuide.com has a bunch of drivers for all kinds of hardware for free, but you have to register first. users can submit drivers they've found or made! they have a lot of 3200c WinXP drivers, dont know if any work though. ive had a lot of success using their drivers.
