Question High CPU temps while gaming and low CPU temps while stress testing

Hello!
I can't figure out why my CPU temps while gaming and while stress testing are so different

CPU temps:
idle - 40-50 C
while gaming - 85-95 C (CPU usage 15%-30%)
AIDA64 CPU stress test - ~60 C (CPU usage 100%)
i also tried running Furmark GPU test and AIDA64 CPU stress test at the same time to see if it's related, but CPU temp is still around 60 C

Setup:
CPU: R9 7900x with lian li galahad aio 360
GPU: RTX 3080TI
MB: Asus TUF Gaming X670E-Plus WiFi
Chassis: Lian Li with a lot of fans

I have never heard of such a thing but maybe your aio fans are controlled by cpu usage? Is that even a thing?

Do they make an expected amount of noise while gaming compared to idle and full load?

Adjust the fan curve from the AIO

Unsure of your bios/aio setup but if its an option make sure that the CPU fan curve is using the CPU temperature sensors.
I remember from years ago some fancy bios gave the option to adjust the CPU fan curve based on the GPU temperature sensors and I thought that's a problem waiting to happen!

I don't even know if it's possible to make cpu fans be dependent on cpu usage. I mean... maybe with some additional software or some twisted bios manipulations. But I never tried to achieve something like that. What I did is I adjusted the default CPU temp - CPU fans speed curve a little bit and it looks fine. And yes, fans make much more noise while CPU is at 90 C compared to idle

If there is no company software to manage the curve fan, you connect the fans with a Y cable to the CPU and adjust from the BIOS.

It looks like my CPU temp - CPU fans speed curve is fine. I tested it and it works as expected. Fans speed depends on CPU temp
