[SOLVED] HP 615114-001 - System Board LGA1155: Will it support 8gb sticks of RAM?

Trying to upgrade my 12gb ram to 24gb seeing how right now its the cheapest on amazon. I've heard that some ddr3 boards wont accept 8gb sticks? Somebody tell me how much deditated wam I need to server. Seriously though I can't seem to find this information anywhere. Literally about to just buy them and try it anyway.

max ram appears to be 16gb, either 4 x 4gb or 2 x 8gb

so, yes it can take 8gb sticks but you can't get 24gb running on board.
