houston, we have a problem!
this printer came in to our shop with a faded magenta problem.
replace transfer belt, with no change to fade
test printer came out same.
removed, cleaned & re-installed laser scanner.
the printer now displays, door open after READY flashes momentarily, and is not functioning. There is no signs of life.
double checked cables, their ok
door sensor on top fuser cover & HVPS are intact.
ideas?

I have same problem after cleaning mirrors. Did you find a solution please? Duncan

no, we gave up..its a board problem, according to the startup sequence.
we figure there was leakage of toner, that migrated to the boards (4) on the laser scanner.
and burned out the boards.
customer using the printer as a door stop.
