hp compaq 6005 mobo 531966001 heatsinks

hp 6005 MOBO 531966001 has 3 heatsinks. The large one is for the CPU. The medium one is for the video (I think). The small one, I do not know its purpose, but it gets the hottest. Does anyone know its purpose (cool what item) and is there a better aftermarket heatsink for it ??

No. It is probably the chipset, but no need to worry about it.
