Hello, friends.
It's me again, Ferguson from Italy.
I try to help the poor people here.
I have this man who says he wants a computer for his daughter. He's from Tunis and I don't really believe much of what he says because I know from experience dealing with that kind of people, but he is someone who hasn't got a job, says he's married and in any case struggles a lot for what he wants to get. He has a limp.
Yesterday he brought me this computer and asked me to put it in working order. Irrespective of anything else, I decided I was going to help.
The laptop is very old. I have dealt with such model several times in the past. But I never had a computer that appears to work but at a certain point goes off.
The laptop has a Windows Vista DVD in the optical drive. I turn on the computer and the drive works. Vista gets loaded until it says something like "installation completion" and then goes off and you have to start the process all over again.
I wish it was defective RAM's.
Can you help?

P.S. I think the fan is not working. I just put my ear onto the fan exit and I could not hear any sound
